Paw & Property KlG
1. Scope of application
These General Terms and Conditions (hereinafter referred to as “GTC”) apply to all services offered by Paw & Property KlG (hereinafter referred to as “P&P”). By using the services of P&P you (hereinafter referred to as “customer”) accept the following conditions unchanged and in full. Applicable is the current version of the GTC, which is published at the time of the conclusion of the contract. Changes of the contract, additional agreements as well as conditions of the customer only become part of the contract after written acceptance by P&P.
2. Data protection
3.1 Pet care
3.1.1 Service area and offer
P&P offers various pet care services in 4052 Basel. Other areas can be served upon request. Information about the different offers can be found on our website.
3.1.2 Conclusion of the contract
A contract is concluded after agreement between the customer and P&P on the service to be performed and the time period, the customer’s acceptance of these GTC and subsequent booking confirmation by P&P.
3.1.3 Obligations of the customer
The obligations of the customer include mainly:
a) Registration and insurance of all pets as required by the law of the country of service provision.
b) Provision of pet food, medication, toys and hygiene products for the duration of the service. Necessary purchases by P&P will be charged with an additional service fee of CHF 10.00 – CHF 60.00 per purchase.
c) Information of the veterinarian about the care and assumption of any medical costs by the pet owner.
P&P takes all precautions in accordance with all relevant laws and regulations of the country of service provision to ensure the health and safety of your pet(s). P&P assumes no liability for any damage, contamination or loss of any pet or property, or injury, escape, illness or death of any pet occurring while using P&P’s services, except to the extent P&P is required to do so by law. Generally, no liability is assumed for occurrences that occur outside of service hours, including but not limited to when the pet is unattended.
3.1.5 Access to the pet
During the booking period P&P requires unhindered access to the pet. Keys/access cards will be provided prior to service or placed in a lockbox for the first service visit. All keys and access cards will be kept secure and separate from client records and will be returned in an envelope in the mailbox unless otherwise arranged. A personal handover will be charged with a service fee of CHF 10.
3.1.6 Terms of payment
The customer shall pay for the booked services of P&P after conclusion of the contract and receipt of the invoice by the date stated in the invoice before the start of the service via bank transfer.
3.1.7 Cancellation terms

up to 7 days before the start of the service: 100%
up to 3 days before service start: 50%

Early termination after service start: 0%
3.2 Online Shop
3.2.1 Service area and offer
P&P delivers its products throughout Switzerland. Accessories, decoration and similar items shown in the product images are not part of the offer, unless expressly included. We reserve the right to minor deviations in terms of color, processing and structure to the products shown in the online store.
3.2.2 Conclusion of the contract
When purchasing or ordering P&P products in the Online Shop, the customer makes a legally binding offer to conclude a contract by accepting the General Terms and Conditions and then sending the order. P&P confirms the receipt of the order by e-mail after receipt of the order. Only with this confirmation the contract is considered as concluded. The conclusion of the contract is subject to the availability of the ordered products. The goods remain the property of P&P until full payment has been received.
3.2.3 Payment methods
P&P offers different payment options in the online store.
Deliveries are made by Swiss Post or another parcel delivery service. Delivery times are shown with the respective goods.
3.2.5 Inspection of the goods / notification of defects
Customers shall check the goods for completeness and intactness immediately after receipt. Defects found at a later date must be reported to P&P immediately after discovery. P&P reserves the right to correct defects. Only if this is not possible, a new product will be sent to the customer or a refund will be granted.
According to article 10 paragraph 2 letter a MWSTG P&P is not liable to pay VAT. All prices are therefore exclusive of VAT, inclusive of other statutory charges, but – unless expressly stated otherwise – exclusive of delivery and assembly costs.
5. Customer service / complaints
Responsible for questions and complaints regarding P&P articles and their delivery is: Paw & Property KlG, Hardstrasse 29, 4052 Basel, Switzerland.
6. Final provisions
6.1 Swiss law is exclusively applicable, excluding the conflict of laws provisions and the provisions of the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG). The place of jurisdiction is Basel. P&P and the customer shall also have the right to bring an action at the customer’s place of residence.
6.2 The customer may only set off claims against P&P that have been legally established and are not disputed.
6.3 P&P reserves the right to change these GTC at any time. Amendments shall be made available on the website and shall enter into force upon their posting.
6.4 Should one or more provisions of these GTC be or become invalid or unenforceable in whole or in part, this shall not affect the validity or enforceability of the remaining provisions of these GTC. In this case, the parties shall replace the invalid or unenforceable provision with a valid and enforceable provision that comes as close as possible to the economic purpose of the provision to be replaced. The same shall apply analogously in the event that these GTC should contain a regulatory gap.
6.5 If the English version of the GTC differs from the German version of the GTC, the German version shall apply.
