Paw & Property presents: maisonBo goes Showroom! 🛍️
MiaCara, Approved by Fritz, Stapelstein, 1one1 – Discover our private pet boutique in Basel
In summer 2025 we brought maisonBo offline and directly to you in Basel! 🎉
As many of you know: We, Stephanie (from Berlin) and Johan (from Stockholm), are not only the team behind Paw & Property, but also the founders of maisonBo.ch, our online store for high-quality, practical and stylish accessories for dogs and cats.
And now we went one step further: in July 2025, we opened our very first showroom, a private appointment-only boutique store in the charming Gellert quarter in Basel – right next to Café Pförtnerhaus!
🐾 From housesitting in New Zealand to our own store in Basel
Our journey began in 2017 with Paw & Property. Back then we were still house-sitting in New Zealand and Australia, with the key to our dream home in one hand and a chewy bone in the other.
After two years of travels and back in Switzerland, the adventure turned into a profession: since 2019, we have been looking after dogs and cats in their familiar homes in Zurich and Basel – lovingly, individually and with a lot of heart.
The next idea came in 2023: why are there so few eye-pleasing and beautiful gadgets and furnitures for pets? And why do most products not match the rest of the interior? That’s how maisonBo.ch was born, our online store for everyone who loves animals AND style.
💛 And now it’s getting really real: our showroom
On 30 lovingly designed square meters, we are showing you our hand-picked range live – to touch, try out and to fall in love with.
Everything here revolves around high-quality products for dogs, cats and your home – for everyone who wants to combine function and aesthetics.
MiaCara
