Paw & Property presents: maisonBo goes Showroom! 🛍️

MiaCara, Approved by Fritz, Stapelstein, 1one1 – Discover our private pet boutique in Basel

In summer 2025 we brought maisonBo offline and directly to you in Basel! 🎉

As many of you know: We, Stephanie (from Berlin) and Johan (from Stockholm), are not only the team behind Paw & Property, but also the founders of maisonBo.ch, our online store for high-quality, practical and stylish accessories for dogs and cats.

And now we went one step further: in July 2025, we opened our very first showroom, a private appointment-only boutique store in the charming Gellert quarter in Basel – right next to Café Pförtnerhaus!

🐾 From housesitting in New Zealand to our own store in Basel

Our journey began in 2017 with Paw & Property. Back then we were still house-sitting in New Zealand and Australia, with the key to our dream home in one hand and a chewy bone in the other.

After two years of travels and back in Switzerland, the adventure turned into a profession: since 2019, we have been looking after dogs and cats in their familiar homes in Zurich and Basel – lovingly, individually and with a lot of heart.

The next idea came in 2023: why are there so few eye-pleasing and beautiful gadgets and furnitures for pets? And why do most products not match the rest of the interior? That’s how maisonBo.ch was born, our online store for everyone who loves animals AND style.

💛 And now it’s getting really real: our showroom

On 30 lovingly designed square meters, we are showing you our hand-picked range live – to touch, try out and to fall in love with.

Everything here revolves around high-quality products for dogs, cats and your home – for everyone who wants to combine function and aesthetics.

MiaCara
Minimalist, high-quality design from Germany. Each product is a statement – well thought-out, durable, stylish.

Approved by Fritz
Odorless, waterproof and easy to clean – Approved by Fritz collars and leads are ideal for outings where things might get a bit messy, trips to the beach and rainy days.

Stapelstein
Sustainable, sturdy, colorful – and perfect for physiotherapy and training for dogs and cats. Stacking, turning over, obstacle course, your ideas are the limit.

1one1
The Origami folding box is a World first, made in Switzerland. Easy to put up and take down, it keeps your dog safe but is never in the way when it’s not needed.

🎁 For everyone with fur, style & taste

Whether you’re looking for a cozy bed for your dog, a chic bowl for your sister’s cat or want to upgrade your car with a safe and reliable dog box – our showroom / private boutique is small, but full of favorite pieces. For your home, for on the go, for gifts, for yourself. Also for the friend with the three cats. 😉

Look forward to:
✨ Timelessness & innovation
✨ Regular offers & specials
✨ A store experience that will delight you & your four-legged friends

👛 Private shopping – make an appointment

Want to browse in a relaxed atmosphere without the hustle and bustle? Then simply book a private shopping appointment for you alone or with a friend. Your dogs are of course very welcome!

🐶 Cosy atmosphere

☕ Delicious drinks & snacks

💬 Time for advice & inspiration

🐕 From us, for you.

Whether as pet carers or store owners – we live animal love with style.

maisonBo is a project close to our hearts, the result of many years of experience, daily inspiration from our animal guests and the desire to finally bring design and function together.
